"Mike’s Ride" is more than paint on canvas—it’s a personal odyssey rendered in motion. Created as one-third of a conceptual trilogy, this piece was designed in tandem with the evolving tattoo of its subject, Mike, capturing the emotional and spiritual arc of his life: a ride from past shadows toward a future lit with possibility.
Painted live as part of Bogdanov’s immersive series, the work pulses with symbolic terrain. The sweeping composition evokes velocity, turmoil, and transcendence all at once. Dark, churning zones of the past give way to clarity, light, and open skies—suggesting a journey not just through space, but through healing, identity, and becoming.
